MODULE AIMS

Understand the basic facts and terms of Science by managing responsibilities for classroom and independent learning and use them for the following semester, higher studies and in daily life.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Solve problems based on SI units.
Explain Scientific terms in Mechanics.
Analyze matter and types of matter
Describe Scientific terms in Atomic structure and Reactions.
Interpret Scientific terms in Biology.
Illustrate Human Organ Systems.

MODULE AIMS

The module will provide the fundamental knowledge and essential skills in Science for the successful completion of the prescribed topics and to develop capability to analyze basic theories in Science to use them for higher studies and in daily life.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Apply the basic principles of Mechanics (motion &force).
Evaluate force and its effects and pressure related to solid and fluid statics.
Analyze matter and states of matter.
Classify the structure of atom, chemical bonding and reactions
Describe the characteristics of life and the difference between plant and animal cells.
Explain the components and process of Ecosystems.

MODULE AIMS

This module will provide an opportunity to expand on the knowledge and skills gained by students in F2 module for the successful completion of the prescribed topics and to utilize them for higher studies and in daily life.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Analyze the principles of work, mechanical energy, thermal energy, transfer of thermal energy.
Classify radioactivity. types of radiation.
Evaluate basic principles of electrical science.
Apply the Principles of mole concept.
Interpret the principles of Enthalpy.
Compare the structure and properties of hydrocarbons-alkanes, alkenes and alkynes.
Explain photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
