of the General Foundation Programme of ICEM organized the final rounds of its debate competition on the 16th of March 2022 for both the junior and senior categories. The debate topic for the junior team was ''Should cell phones be banned in schools and colleges?'' while that of the senior team was ''Is social media like TikTok and Instagram destroying our culture?'' The competition which keenly contested ended with the emergence of Shahad Al Mahruqui, Salim Al Salmi and Mohammed Al Mamari as winners in the junior category while Mariam al Badi, Hanefal Al Zadjali and Al Mutaz Al Khatri emerged winners in the senior category. Gift vouchers were presented to the winners and runners up while certificates of participation will be given on a later date. The Head of Department, Dr. Fawziya Al Zadjali and the entire GFP Team congratulated the winners and all participants and encouraged them to keep up their zeal and enthusiasm as regards future extra and co-curricular activities.
